Because we like to know what Rebels think, we want to know about your opinions on school lunches. What do you like or dislike? If you could change something what would it be?
We need to get better quality food for the price we pay. I am certain that $2.25 is not what our lunches are even worth. This coming from my sister who is a culinary arts major at Johnson and Wales. School food is not that expensive therefor we should be able to eat better food for that price. Why do you think that our school can afford to offer reduced lunches? Because they have enough money saved from buying the food in the first place to keep them striving with this loss.
I'm pretty sure it is a health code violation when students have to scoop their own food into the cups in the lunch line. It is pretty bad when you see parts of the other avaliable food in the tub that we have to get our food out of and cups and forks falling in the food. This slows down the already over crowded line.
the whole reduced lunches thing is a scam anyway because some of the kids that get it are always going back up there A La Carte. if you get free/reduced lunches then you shouldnt be able to get that obviously if you can afford a la carte then you can afford the real price for lunch.
These are all valid points guys. I personally would like to see a portion increase. I also believe that we should have better food like Andrew stated earlier.
The food should be improve on and quality of the food should be work on.

ReplyDeleteThe food here is a good price. we get 1 drink 1 meal and 3 sides for $2.25. At any other fast food place you get 1 meal 1 drink and 1side for $6-$7.

I believe that Facebook is better than Twitter or Blogging. but in the end it comes down to how many fish you can catch.
