Pre-Final Jitters

Hey Rebels!
We know that with final coming up some of us are pretty nervous. We have a few tips to help you be on your A-game for the test.
-When you study, don't do it too much. Do it for an hour then take a 15 minute break.
-Eat foods like fruits, fish, nuts, and cheese. They help give your brain a boost! These foods promote quick thinking and are healthy too!
-Make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep at night! We all know this is a tough one. Maybe your favorite show just came on, or you're on a roll in Call of Duty. Whatever it is, it will wait till tomorrow.

Hopefully, these will help you be better prepared for the test. Also, do you think finals should be worth more or less?

Weekends..

So I woke up today with a simple question to those who care to answer. Do you believe that dreams can lead to another world? Time and place? Even a completely different Universe? What do you think dreams really are? Let me know, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

I personally believe that dreams are the essence of yourself and what you see is what you get. Either your mind is filled with chaos and destruction, emptiness, or love and full of joy. It represents your current state of mind and what you are planning to do in the future. That is my philosophy on dreams. What's yours?

Addition?

I was taking a stroll around the building the other day, and I was thinking about the school and the things it offers. Every school offers several facilities to be used by their students, and ours is no exception. So, my question to you guys and girls is, if you could add something to this school what would it be? Would it be new classes, more buildings, or something more unique?

I personally would like to see a second floor added to the lunchroom.

Posting Is Now Working!!!!

Sorry guys, after some fixes posting was a little impossible. Now it works! Get out there and post!

Overrated?

Do you think that holidays are overly commercialized? Remember when holidays were about sitting around with your family and hanging out? Is it just another department store holiday?

Personally I like the commercialization because you can give your unruly relatives a gift and then ignore them again for a few months.

What're your thoughts on this?

Alternative Finals

So as we all know, in order to take the alternative final, you have to be somewhat intelligent. For those of you who are not on the list, what do you think the rules should be for being able to have access to the alternative final? For those of you who are on the list, do you think the rules should stay the same? I personally believe the rules are quite fair, with the exception of the excused absenses.

In Interest of Those Posting

Dear Rebels,
While I do appreciate your interest in the blog, spamming useless unwanted comments does not make anybody around you very happy. While it may seem cool for the moment, I guarantee that the rush is only temporary. While I do understand the importance of a blog to share opinions and ideas, you all must remember that good things can be taken away. You are all high school students and I expect you to act in a mature fashion. Thank you and please in enjoy the blog in a responsible manner.

Blogging vs. Twitter!

Hey guys when you get a chance check out this article about twitter and blogging.
Which one do you prefer?

The article is here:

Lunch Room Freedom

Well ladies and gentlemen, the topic for today is do you believe that the school should allow the students to be physically active during lunch? Yes or No? and please put some reason behind it so we can relay the message from the students to the faculty.

I personally believe that we should be able to actually enjoy our lunch instead of being couped up in a small room with a lot of people, and go outside and play if we want, besides there's nowhere to run to anyway. Oh and whats wrong with hacky sack? Just a personal thought haha.

Recently there has been a lot of buzz about the Broncos Scandal. If you haven't heard about it yet (because of living under a rock or otherwise) check out this article at ESPN to get caught up.
